What is Tathastu?
Tathastu is a secure service where you write encrypted messages for specific people—your nominees. We store them and deliver only after your death or prolonged incapacity is verified through a defined process. Nominees receive a secure link and must verify their identity before they can read the messages you left for them.
Planning for the worst doesn't mean expecting it.

Configure your messages
Write what you want to say and set it up. You're in control of the content and who it's for.
Add nominees
Nominees are the people you choose to receive specific messages. Assign each message to them; they're the only ones who can access it, and only after verification.
We deliver only after verification
If you don't log in for an extended period, we treat it as a possible trigger. A verified process then confirms the situation. Only after that do we release your messages to your nominees.
Then it's gone
Once messages are delivered, or no longer waiting for delivery, we delete the data. Nothing stays forever.
Your messages stay unreadable to us
We encrypt on your device. We store ciphertext. We literally cannot read what you wrote without your passphrase.
Recipients verify their identity
Nominees get a time-limited link and must confirm via one time code before seeing anything.
Every action is logged
Who accessed what, when. Tamper-proof records you or your executor can review.
You control your passphrase
